Most people come to coaching seeking answers. They ask "What should I do, where should I go?" and coaching helps bring clarity and a path forward. Good coaching, however, is not about giving answers. Books give you answers. Articles give you answers. If giving answers was the key for lasting change then we'd all be eating our vegetables, sticking to our priorities, and spending ample quality time with loved ones. Coaching is about creating goals, formulating solutions and realizing that you have the capability and resources to create lasting change for yourself. My job as your coach is to help you discover answers that work best for your unique life, to offer the occasional bit of research, strategy, or exercises that may be useful, and to work alongside you in building out your action plan. I then act as a point of accountability, assist in iterating your plan based on what is (and isn't) working, and occasionally offer an alternative perspective. Finally, as we draw to the close of our engagement, I will help you build strategies for longterm maintenance and course correction as you venture forth on your own.
What I have found in my years of teaching and coaching well-being and behavior change is that you do what you believe, and you believe what you build; coaching is a partnership to help you build something you believe in.
If you are ready to do the work to create a less stressful, more rewarding professional and personal life, then I am here to support you!

Coaching ≠ Therapy
A note on coaching vs. therapy. While coaching can do many things, it is not meant to replace therapy. If you are struggling with even getting out of bed in the morning, having panic attacks, processing a major trauma, or in general think that you might have an undiagnosed mental illness, therapy is the best place to start. Coaching can be a wonderful compliment to therapy, either during or after, to help with some of the specific behavioral or lifestyle changes after you and your therapist agree that coaching could help. I support therapy and often work with clients during or after it.
